Adoption Fees
The standard adoption fee is $150 per cat, with a reduced rate of $100 for each additional feline or $250 for a bonded pair. Senior cats (10 years and older) receive a 50% reduced fee of $75.
These fees help cover essential veterinary care, including spay/neuter services, core vaccinations, flea prevention, deworming, FeLV/FIV testing, and microchipping—everything your new royal needs to begin their next chapter.
The Adoption Process
Please book a visit to Sydney’s Cat Lounge to ensure there is a connection and if a cat chooses you. After submitting your Adoption Application, an Adoption Coordinator will contact you within 1–3 days via email or phone to learn more about your home, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping for in a companion.
Once your application is approved, you will receive your Adoption
Contract and payment information. When all documents are signed and processed, you’ll be welcomed back to meet your chosen royal. Please arrive with a pet-approved carrier for your new companion.
From there, your new royal will embark on a 7-day “sleepover” in your home—an opportunity for both of you to ensure it’s a perfect fit.
